I like all sorts of books! Couldn’t really pick one genre. A favourite that I read at school is The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. I think overall my favourite books would be Watership Down by Richard Adams and Animal Farm by George Orwell.

I like science fiction novels that combine science with a bit a fantasy. It stretches the mind of what may or may not be possible. Star Wars is a great example of this.

In terms of fiction I really like crime and murder mystery novels! (some of the old-school agatha christie novels are great) Non-fiction popular science books are fun too, but I don’t normally read these if I’m busy with work because my brain is too full of science already!

I am currently reading the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde. They are the perfect mix of fantasy, mystery, action and humour that I really like in books. My favourite series that I come back to time and time again is Harry Potter though, always.
