I’d say it was a job that presents challenges with various levels. Some are easier than others, but they all require an organised and methodical approach 🙂
At times it’s hard, especially if I have a problem I don’t know how to solve. But I love the work itself and making a positive difference that the hard work doesn’t seem too bad…
I don’t think I would say it was an easy job no- but I don’t think there are any jobs that are easy all the time! Because the goal of scientific research is to find out new things, it means you are trying to do something that nobody has ever done before- which can be pretty tricky! As the other scientists have said, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing! Its good to use your brain and solve problems. I think its finding a job which has the right balance for you between being hard enough that you’re thinking lots and feeling engaged, but then also not so hard that you hate it!
