Absolutely! I studied science at university with lots of people looking at going into gaming. Did you know that Dundee university do a world class degree in gaming design? You learn all sorts about the science of designing and making computer games!

Yes! Gaming is very related to science. Lots of people working in game design are expert mathematicians and computer scientists- and these people are essential to making a game play and run well!
Yes! The others have answered this well. One point to add – software engineers help to develop games and test them too. My cousin works for EA as a software engineer, and he always used to bring new games for to try when I was younger and visited my family over Christmas!
