I work in Glasgow, Scotland (Mostly). I also travel to visit other places, I have a project down in Cornwall and later next month I am going to Prague for a conference!

I am mainly based in Birmingham at the University of Birmingham (we have lots of different universities in Birmingham!). My research forest is Birmingham Institute of Forest Research which is just a bit north of Birmingham in Staffordshire.
Those are the two places I work at most often, but occasionally I travel to other parts of the UK (or maybe abroad if I’m lucky!) to collaborate (work with) other researchers on projects.

I work in Nottingham, in the United Kingdom. I have traveled to San Francisco, Tallinn in Estonia, Scotland, and Barcelona for work. I visited the Mobile World Congress, a very big conference with lots of Smart Phone companies there. That was back in 2016. Mark Zuckerberg was taking about 360° videos for Facebook, which was pretty cool. Around 100’000 people went to that conference in Barcelona. Massive building bigger than you could imagine!

Currently I live in Rome with my family but travel to East and Southern Africa at least 10 times a year to see the projects that I support. so far this year I have been to Kenya and Lesotho. After Easter I will go to Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and Mozambique – then I get a holiday
