Great question. I am going to have to give you a couple of answers – because I can’t choose between them. The sae around Lundy Island is great, and seals are the most amazing creatures to dive/swim with. They come and play with you like puppies, one bit my fins underwater, and another one tried to steal my camera! The Red Sea off Egypt is beautiful, the coral reefs there are lovely, and in the summer there are large schools of fish which you can swim through, its like being in an aquarium. And the Maldives islands are amazing for underwater life, my favourite fish there were Nurse Sharks – really big and graceful, during they day they sleep in caves underwater all piled in like cats. I just wanted to crawl in and join them!
I think all the oceans are awesome, and they all have beautiful creatures 🙂
Even if the creatures don’t look so friendly, I’m sure they are – they’re probably just like Grumpy Cat – it’s just their faces but they are friendly really!
One of loves is diving and one of the best holidays I spent with my family was as live ob board dive boat on the Great Barrier Reef – a truly awesome experience with unbelievable fish – capped by a helicopter flight over the reefs – first time my kids and wife were quiet for the whole journey
