• Question: When we run out of oil will there be solutions? For example you can't say electric cars because they currently run on oil. What do you see in the future?

Very good question. As oil starts to run out the prices will become much more expensive and volatile, which we are seeing the start of now. This will push people to move away from oil dependant things. Things like diesel cars, lorries and tractors, things like plastics and intensive manufacturing, and heating our homes with gas will become much more expensive. We will move towards district heating, which is connecting houses together with hot water systems that is heated from the waste from power generation, or from electricity. Cars and freight will move towards plug-in electric or other new technologies like helium batteries, and disposable plastics will become a thing of the past!
