  I have just come to the end of a PhD, which is pretty much one loooong project which lasts about 3 years. Luckily I got help breaking this down into lots of smaller projects that lasted about 3 months each.
  
  My total project was about how to work out how fast the wind blows and how much electricity you can make at much taller heights than normal wind turbines… using things called airborne (flying) wind turbines. They are really cool, it’s like flying a kite but making electricity at the same time!

Question: what was the longest time you spent on an project?
