• Question: Do you think humans and the world could evolve differently due to climate change?

      Evolution is a very slow process, especially in humans because you need many many generations for evolution to happen, and in humans each generation lives quite a long time! The current climate change is happening very rapidly (it started in the industrial revolution in the early 1800s) so it wouldn’t be possible for evolution to happen at the same rate that climate change is happening.

      However! If we manage to slow climate change down by changing our habits as humans, there could be some evolution due to climate change (but we wouldn’t see this for many years time).
